Welcome! Thanks for spending time with us at MOSH.COM.SG. We're here to share food stories, recipes, and honest recommendations that we personally enjoy and believe in. To keep things open and transparent, we’ve put together this page. Below you'll find everything you should know about how we work behind the scenes especially when partnerships, promotions, or paid content are involved.
This might be long, but we believe trust is built on clarity. So here’s our full policy.
Who We Are
We’re a small team led by Zhen Wei, born and raised in Singapore. MOSH.COM.SG began as a passion project rooted in a love for food, family, and connection. What started in a kitchen full of shared meals has now grown into a place where recipes, food ideas, and culinary curiosity come together.
We share recipes, test ingredients, write about food experiences, and occasionally work with brands. You deserve to know when there’s a financial or promotional connection behind what you read here.
What Counts as a Paid Relationship
Sometimes we get approached by companies asking us to feature their product or service. Other times we seek out items we love and believe might be helpful for you.
Here’s what those relationships might look like:
- Affiliate links: We might earn a small percentage from your purchases.
- Sponsored posts: A company pays us to write something, often about their product.
- Gifted products: Items sent without payment, just for feedback or trial.
- Brand partnerships: Long-term collaborations or ambassadorships.
- Ads: Space bought by a business, placed on the site.
Everything on this list gets disclosed clearly in each post. If money, goods, or perks are involved, we let you know.
Affiliate Links: How They Work
Some recipes or recommendations may include links to ingredients, tools, or books. If you click those and buy something, we may earn a commission.
You don’t pay extra for clicking those links or buying through them. The price stays the same for you, our cut comes from the retailer. Affiliate programs let us keep this site running, test more recipes, and share more stories.
To be clear: clicking is optional. We always aim to provide enough context so you feel informed before choosing.
We also never recommend products just to make commission. Our rule? We only promote things we’ve tried, tested, or researched thoroughly.
Sponsored Posts: Paid but Honest
From time to time, we partner with brands who pay us to write about their product or service. These collaborations allow us to spend more time doing what we love, cooking, testing, and writing.
But here’s the key part: we don’t say nice things just because money is involved.
If we love something, we say why. If we don’t, we’ll skip it altogether. You’ll never read sponsored content here unless we truly believe in what we’re sharing. No fake reviews. No forced endorsements.
All sponsored content is clearly marked at the top of the post so you know upfront.
Gifted Products: No Strings Attached
We sometimes get sent products to try out like spices, kitchen tools, cookbooks. These might come from PR companies, small businesses, or larger brands.
Sometimes we write about them. Sometimes we don’t. Just receiving a product doesn’t mean we’re obligated to post anything. If we write about something that was gifted, we’ll say so.
If a review appears, it’s because we genuinely found something worth sharing. We don’t sugarcoat our opinions just because something was free.
Advertising
You may see ads on our site. These are typically served through third-party platforms, like Google Ads. We do not control which ads appear, but we try our best to block anything inappropriate, misleading, or irrelevant to what we stand for.
Ads help us cover site costs, from hosting to recipe development. Without ad revenue, running this site would be difficult.
We understand ads can be annoying. We work hard to keep them minimal, tasteful, and non-intrusive.
How We Choose What to Recommend
If we don’t use something ourselves or know someone we trust who does, it doesn’t go up.
Every recipe on this site has been tested, often more than once. Every product or service we mention gets researched, used, or examined thoroughly. If we’re not familiar with it, we won’t promote it.
We also consider cost, availability, usefulness, and ethics. We try to support sustainable, local, and small-batch products whenever possible.
Editorial Control
All words published here belong to us. Even in sponsored content, we write our own copy, develop our own ideas, and shoot our own photos. Brands may suggest angles or themes, but final say stays with us.
We don’t let sponsors dictate language, opinions, or recipes. If something appears on the site, it reflects our voice, not corporate messaging.
We’re Not Professionals, Just Passionate
We are not licensed nutritionists, dietitians, chefs, or doctors. Any advice or recommendation on the site should be taken as personal experience, not professional instruction.
Always consult a health professional if you have allergies or medical conditions. Recipes here are provided in good faith, based on personal results but what works for one kitchen may not work for another.
We Respect Your Time
We try to keep things clear, helpful, and practical. Our posts don’t include filler or fluff just to hit word counts. If we recommend something, there’s a reason.
We avoid fear-based marketing. We won’t tell you something is a "must-have" unless we actually believe it improves your cooking or life.
You work hard. Your time matters. So we aim to respect it with every post we publish.
You Won’t Find...
You’ll never see us promote:
- Products we don’t trust
- Ingredients with shady sourcing
- Services that exploit workers or cut corners
- Companies with unclear values or ethics
- Random stuff for the sake of profit
We turn down more opportunities than we accept. If it doesn’t align with our vision, we pass no matter how good the payout.
Future Partnerships
As our blog grows, we hope to form more partnerships. We’re open to brands who care about food, culture, sustainability, and quality.
If you're a business owner or company rep looking to partner with us, send us a message via contact@mosh.com.sg or visit our Contact Page.
We’re selective. We care about what we post. But we’re always happy to hear from good people doing good work.
Feedback and Questions
This page exists because we respect our readers. Without you, MOSH.COM.SG wouldn’t exist.
If anything ever feels unclear or misleading, or you’re unsure about something we’ve posted, please reach out. We welcome feedback, corrections, or suggestions.
We promise to respond as quickly as we can, with care and openness. We want you to feel at ease here.
Thanks for being here. We’re grateful every time someone cooks a dish they found here, or shares a post with a friend. It means everything.
We hope this policy brings clarity, trust, and confidence in what you see across MOSH.COM.SG.
