We love sharing recipes, stories, and everything that brings flavor to your kitchen. All content on this site like words, photos, and creations comes from hours of testing, writing, photographing, and eating. We're proud of what we build, and we believe others should get credit for their own work, too. That’s why we take copyright seriously.
This page lays out how we handle copyright issues and how you can get in touch if you believe something here shouldn’t be.
Our Approach to Copyright
We believe in fair use, giving credit, and respecting creators. Recipes take time. Photos take planning. Copy takes thought. If you're a creator, you get that. If you’re not sure whether content here belongs to you, we’re always open to a friendly, honest conversation.
If you’re a content owner and believe something on our site has used your work in a way that breaks copyright law, you can send a notice. We follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will do our part.
What’s Protected
Here’s what’s considered protected under copyright law:
- Original photos
- Original recipe descriptions, tips, notes
- Step-by-step instructions written in a unique way
- Personal stories or original blog content
Note: Basic recipe ingredient lists alone aren’t protected. But the way those lists are written or paired with original content may be.
If you’ve spotted your original work on MOSH.COM.SG and you didn’t allow it to be used, read below to learn what to do next.
How to File a Takedown Request
We’re not here to argue. If your work has been used without permission, let us know.
To get started, email us at dmca@mosh.com.sg with the following:
- Your name and how we can contact you
- Clear ID of the copyrighted work – link to where it originally appears, or enough detail to prove it’s yours
- Link to the page on MOSH.COM.SG that uses your work
- Statement that you own the rights or act for someone who does
- A sentence like this:
"I believe in good faith that this use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law." - A statement like this:
“I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.” - Your signature (typed is fine)
📧 Send everything to: dmca@mosh.com.sg
📍 Address: Flat 2B, 1-3 San Lau Street, Hung Hom, Hong Kong

What Happens After You Submit
Once we get your notice, here’s how things go:
- We read your email and check the facts
- If we agree something’s off, we’ll remove or block access to the content fast
- We’ll contact the person who posted the content (if relevant)
- If they think the takedown was a mistake, they can respond with a counter-notice
- We’ll review both sides and respond fairly
We want to fix problems, not make them worse. So we’ll handle each situation with care, speed, and respect for everyone involved.
Submitting a Counter-Notice
If you’ve received a takedown email from us and believe it’s wrong, or you have permission to use the content, you can reply with a counter-notice.
Email dmca@mosh.com.sg with this:
- Your name and how we can reach you
- Link to the content we removed or disabled
- Statement like this:
“I believe in good faith that the material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification.” - Statement like this:
“I consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Singapore and will accept service of process from the complaining party or their agent.” - Your signature (typed is fine)
If everything checks out, we may restore the content within 10–14 business days, unless we hear from the original complainant with legal action. We’ll let both parties know what’s happening every step of the way.
Repeated Violations
We take content ownership seriously. If someone repeatedly violates copyright law or tries to reuse work without permission, we may suspend or ban their access to our platform.
That said, we always aim to educate first. Mistakes happen. But if someone keeps crossing the line, we’ll protect creators and act accordingly.
Things You Can Do Instead of Copying
We love when people are inspired by our food. If you want to share something from MOSH.COM.SG:
- Write about the dish in your own words
- Share a link to our recipe page (not the full content)
- Take your own photos
- Credit us clearly
- Reach out if you want to work together
We're always happy to collaborate or chat about permissions. A quick message can go a long way.
What If Content Was Shared by Mistake?
Hey, we get it. Sometimes, someone shares something thinking it’s allowed or public domain. If that’s happened, send us a message. We don’t bite. We’ll work with you to sort things out fast.
We believe people learn through good conversations, not just strict policies. So if something needs fixing, let’s talk.
