Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Whole Chicken about 4 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 can Beer 12 oz
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the chicken with olive oil.
  3. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the chicken.
  4. Open the beer can and take a few sips (or pour out about ¼ of the beer). Place the beer can in the center of the grill.
  5. Place the chicken on top of the beer can, making sure the can is inserted into the cavity of the chicken.
  6. Close the grill lid and cook for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Carefully remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
