Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Marsala Wine
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth low sodium
  • 8 oz Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 small Shallot finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter. Sauté shallot and garlic until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their juices, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Return chicken to skillet and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
