Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bacon diced
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 2 cups Potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 cans Clams with juice
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, sauté onion and celery in the bacon fat until tender.
  3. 3. Add potatoes, clams with juice, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Heat through but do not boil.
  5. 5. Serve hot, garnished with the cooked bacon.
