  • 1 lb Green beans trimmed
  • 2 cups White vinegar
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 4 cloves Garlic peeled
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Pack green beans, garlic, red pepper flakes, and mustard seeds into canning jars.
  3. 3. Pour hot vinegar mixture over beans, leaving ½ inch headspace.
  4. 4. Seal jars and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
