- 1 lb Green beans trimmed
- 2 cups White vinegar
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 4 cloves Garlic peeled
- 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
2. Pack green beans, garlic, red pepper flakes, and mustard seeds into canning jars.
3. Pour hot vinegar mixture over beans, leaving ½ inch headspace.
4. Seal jars and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
