A classic holiday drink made with eggs, milk, cream, and spices.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 egg yolks
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
In a saucepan, heat the milk and cream over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until light and creamy.
Slowly add the hot milk mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Chill the eggnog in the refrigerator before serving.
