Filipino Chicken Sopas Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 piece onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 piece carrot, diced
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups macaroni noodles
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- to taste salt and pepper
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breast and cook until lightly browned.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the diced carrot and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the macaroni noodles and cook until tender.
Stir in the shredded cabbage and evaporated milk. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
