Ingredients

  • 200 g Kefalotyri or Kasseri cheese cut into thick slices
  • 0.25 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 shot Brandy
  • 1 half Lemon cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. 1. Dredge the cheese slices in flour, shaking off any excess.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. 3. Fry the cheese slices until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Remove the pan from heat and add the brandy. Carefully ignite the brandy with a lighter or match.
  5. 5. Once the flames subside, squeeze lemon juice over the cheese and serve immediately.
