- 4 large Russet potatoes peeled and cut into strips
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
- to taste Salt
1. Peel and cut potatoes into strips.
2. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
3. Fry potatoes in hot oil until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
4. Remove fries and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
