- 4 bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried mint
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup feta cheese crumbled
- to taste salt and pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, oregano, mint, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Remove the skillet from heat and mix in the crumbled feta cheese.
Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
