Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk Use any milk of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Honey Optional, for sweetness
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper Enhances absorption of turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon Ginger powder Optional, for extra warmth

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the turmeric powder, black pepper, and ginger powder to the milk.
  3. 3. Whisk the mixture continuously until it starts to simmer. Do not let it boil.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Add honey if using, and stir well.
  5. 5. Pour into cups and serve warm.
