Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Gravy Ingredients

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon butter

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and sliced onions. Cook until onions are tender.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir well. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
  5. Return the patties to the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
