  • 4 cups Potatoes, grated
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • to taste Butter or oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Grate the potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine grated potatoes, flour, buttermilk, baking soda, and salt.
  3. 3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  4. 4. Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the pan and flatten slightly.
  5. 5. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
