Island Style Sardines and Rice
A simple, flavorful dish combining sardines and rice with island spices.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Rice uncooked
- 2 cans Sardines in oil
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 cups Water
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
3. Add the sardines (with oil) to the pan and break them into pieces.
4. Stir in soy sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Combine the cooked rice with the sardine mixture. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve hot and enjoy your Island Style Sardines and Rice!
