- 2 large Onions sliced into rings
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 quart Oil for frying
1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Dip onion rings into the flour mixture until well coated, then set aside.
4. Whisk the milk and egg together in a bowl. Dip the floured rings into the milk mixture, then into the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
5. Deep fry the onion rings a few at a time for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
