- 1 sheet Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
- 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 3 Eggs beaten
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg optional
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
4. Sprinkle the bacon and cheese evenly over the pie crust.
5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
