Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken about 4-5 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 whole Lemon halved
  • 4 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 4 sprigs Fresh Thyme

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Stuff the cavity with lemon halves, crushed garlic, and thyme sprigs.
  5. Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
