Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg beaten
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, about ½ inch thick.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook the salmon cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
