Main Ingredients
- 4 eggs hard-boiled
- 1 lb sausage meat
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs beaten
- to taste salt and pepper
- for frying vegetable oil
1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and set aside.
2. Divide the sausage meat into 4 equal portions. Flatten each portion and wrap it around each egg, ensuring it's fully covered.
3. Roll each sausage-covered egg in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the Scotch eggs until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
