Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pounds Pork Shoulder
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture over the pork shoulder in the slow cooker. Add the chopped onion.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
  5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
  6. Serve on buns, in tacos, or as desired.
