Ingredients

  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Flavor Extract (any flavor)
  • 2 drops Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions 

  1. 1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. 3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 3 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  5. 5. Add the flavor extract and food coloring, if using.
  6. 6. Pour the syrup into a storage bottle and refrigerate until ready to use.
