Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring it's well coated.
  5. 5. Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes per piece.
  6. 6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
