  • 1 lb chicken livers cleaned and trimmed
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak the chicken livers in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Dredge the soaked livers in the flour mixture, coating them well.
  5. 5. Fry the livers in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
