  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 100 g Pecorino Romano cheese, grated
  • 2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  2. 2. In a large pan, toast the black pepper over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan with the pepper. Toss to combine.
  4. 4. Gradually add the grated Pecorino Romano cheese, tossing constantly to create a creamy sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  5. 5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra cheese and black pepper if desired.
