  • 1 head lettuce washed and torn
  • 4 slices bacon diced
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to the bacon drippings. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. 3. Pour the hot mixture over the lettuce in a mixing bowl. Toss to wilt the lettuce.
  4. 4. Sprinkle the cooked bacon on top and serve immediately.
